Bluetooth finder
A browser can offer a user-approved BLE device chooser. Some experimental browser versions expose advertisement RSSI through an additional scan API. If this API is absent, the live dial stays blank; selecting a device does not grant RSSI access.
Connection monitor
The web version times uncached requests to a small file hosted with this app. Readings can indicate end-to-end responsiveness, but include the access point, router, Internet and server—not just the Wi-Fi link.
What the web cannot measure
Browsers do not normally expose Wi-Fi SSIDs, dBm RSSI, channel surveys, device direction or indoor position. Web response-time fluctuations cannot establish radio standing waves. Native permissions or dedicated hardware are required for RF diagnostics.
Privacy and permission
Data is saved locally. Bluetooth discovery needs a compatible browser, secure HTTPS origin and permission. Scan only networks and devices you own or are authorized to inspect. The app does not attempt to bypass passwords or authentication.
Many phones and headphones stop advertising when asleep or connected. Failure to detect a device does not show it is absent.
